Jean-Michel Basquiat + Andy Warhol

I'm sure you've seen some of these paintings, but
these are even more amazing to me at this point in my life. The juxtaposition of high and lo art as well as the merging of pop culture and subcultural expression are fantastic. Not to mention the coolness and effortlessness embodied in all Basquiat's work.

The Noir Series: The Parcel Is Not Dead It Just Smells Funny.

Its official. I'm calling it finished on this series of cards I've been creating. So I present you the NOIR series in vivid digital Web Black. Expect to see them printed shortly and in your mailbox.

The Most Interesting Uninteresting Process.

Pencil to Paper. Paper to Screen. Its pretty

Australia Is Cool.

Jonathan Zawada is a master of illusion. Kind of
like a magician with the vanishing and the smoke
and the mirrors.

Future Idea.

Sometimes its hard to get up in the morning let
alone begin to conjure up thoughts. This is an ode
to those times of cyclical insanity. Thinking about
thinking is a common symptom of designers. Just stop
thinking already. Plus ambigrams are really cool.

Home Is Where The Heart Is.

Check out these little bastards that
Field Notes came up with. Regional
sketchbooks for all 50 states. Pretty
hip and cool. FYI these were made in
OakBrook Terrace, IL. Recognize real.
